Jud and Anakela both celebrated birthdays this month. Jud turned 14 and was insistant on having the rights of every teenager, although we weren't as compliant. Anakela turned 10 and earned the ability to have her own room. Kalina moved in with Leilani, and Connor took the living room downstairs. Leilani at first wasn't too keen on the idea of the "monster" moving in with her, she is the type of child that likes things just her way and specific and her stuff left alone. I reminded her that in two years when she turned 10, she would have her own room and Anakela would have to deal with the "monster" when she was 4 and much more destructive :) Plus she would have the ability to train her exactly how she wanted her to behave. Connor enjoys being away from the girls and tells the kids to close their eyes when he is changing in "his room".
Ice skating started with the children, and they have all enjoyed it thoroughly. Connor is loving preschool and his best friend is Tate and he is going to marry Shelby.
As usual we shared thanksgiving with the Butikofers and enjoyed the luxury of spending it with family. Wonderful meals and company made all the difference.
Hunting season ended on a positive note with Jason getting both his deer and elk for the season. As is par for the course, he has already begun talking about next season. I sure hope they have hunting in heaven!
