December - Part 2

Back home we arrived to Idaho, in the cold. Both Jason and I ran to the fireplace to pile the wood on. We stayed in front of the fireplace for nearly two hours and finally were able to become warm. While in New York we managed to freeze the whole time. Christmas came and we had the honor of hosting dinner at our home this year with Jason's Aunt Susan and Uncle Bob, Sarah, Daniel, Debra Kay and Dick. We had a wonderful meal with all the trimmings. Christmas day was delightful with the kids enjoying their gifts and the ability to have new things. Christmas break was a little overwhelming for all of us. During this time Jud decided that he wanted to move on from living with our family. It was very difficult for the family to deal with but we understood that sometimes changes need to happen even when we didn't want them too. We will miss him. He was a blessing in our lives and changed our lives forever. We love him and he will be forever in our hearts. Maybe someday circumstances will be different and he will be able to rejoin our family.
