June has been a busy month. Leilani and Connor were both in T-Ball and on different teams. We did a balancing act between 6 games a week. We woke up early and stayed through the morning. Anakela has been involved in 4H and is developing a better relationship with the horses. Jud continues to be involved with the horses and DD services.
I did an escape trip to Utah to see the Lehman family with Anakela. We enjoyed our alone time and relived memories from long ago.
On the 29th of June, the family had a wonderful opportunity to go the local amusement park in Layton, Utah. The children had lots of fun. Leilani was Jason's right hand women, never leaving his side and riding all the rides she could get on which were most of them. Connor enjoyed the kids rides and he and I strolled around the park finding rides for him and I.
Jud's family was able to come and we were all able to have a good time. Jud's nephew was Anakela's age and they buddied up and went on rides together. The bumper car's being the favorite. I pray that none of them drive the way that we saw them drive.
Kalina stayed with Aunt Susan and Sarah, as she would have been just miserable. We will take her with us next time we go which will be in a few years.
July is now here and life is balancing out. We are happy to be back in the slow lane. Jason's birthday will be coming and scout camp at the end of the month for Jud. Camping and swimming are on the agenda, but of course gardening is a must, if it will stay warm! :)
