Over the past 12 years of marriage, Jason and I have had many blessings and opportunities to live in many places and meet wonderful people. We began our marriage in Pocatello. Jason attended the Police Academy and I attended ISU to continue my education degree.
Soon after graduation from the academy, we moved to Aberdeen, Idaho, as Jason took on a job as a police officer for the town. In 2002 we were offered a sherriff's position in Orofino, Idaho in the panhandle of Idaho. We decided to take the job and headed north with a 2 1/2 year old and a newborn. We lived there for 11 weeks until Jason's job was cut for lack of funding. After a tramatic change of scenery, we decided to begin the next part of our life in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Jason was originally from Idaho Falls and much of his family lived there. We moved in with his grandparents, the saints they are and soon were able to land jobs that took us on the road to home ownership. In 2004, we bought a home in the Coltman area just north of Idaho Falls. The home was built by a relative in the 1940's.
We have had the opportunity to have ducks, kittens, goats and currently have 12 chickens, 2 dogs, 5 cats and are housing our horses down the road.
